A 4 day autumn photo trip this September in Fagaras Mountains. No big luck with sunrises, every one of them was cloudy. But instead there were some nice sunsets, as you can see on the photos.

spring mountain trip

The spring mountain trip is a long awaited one each year, because it is the first one of the year, and it comes after a long period of missing. The winter is very long in the mountains, and more difficult and dangerous to hike, especially where are no tourist shelters. So, for us the first mountain trip of the year is usually in the second half of May, as it was in this year, in the Rodnei mountains, where we found in the first days real spring landscape and weather, but also winter in the last day, as you can see in the photos.

A place where i come back often, not because it's spectacular, but it is close and available.

macro 2009

In this year my interest for macro photography decreased a little bit. My new direction here is: more abstract, the recognition of the subject itself not so important, narrow depth of field, and special mood.

From the village where i live, the nearest place which is interesting for landscape photography is 30 min. away with a car. It is a small mountain called Muntii Ses, with a 8-900m alt. plateau with trees, old fences and a few old houses.
